We're Baaaccckkkkk

My first run back on Frosty in almost 2 months!! Oh boy...does it feel good to be back at it. :-D

I'm gonna cut Frosty some slack...He came back running exactly where he left off...about 2.3 seconds off of the fast times...But...

Considering he is still way out of shape, hasn't seen a barrel pattern in all of that time and I can tell his hocks are ready to be re-injected...I'm pretty happy with his run. It was Frosty's usual smooth pattern, but I could feel he was a little herky-jerky coming out of his turns and I was praying he wasn't going to blow up with me. Once I get his hocks re-injected, he'll smooth right back out and hopefully be willing to turn on the speed a little bit.

All that really matters is that we are back at it and gearing up for the winter season.

In case you couldn't tell...I am r.e.a.l.l.y. excited. I never thought I would say this, but Frosty is just a blast to run. He has pretty much established his style now and I just L.O.V.E it!!

In other good news...

Jet, the horse formerly known at The Big Bay...

Got rode at his very first public venue.

Yep!!

He handled horses coming at him, horses loping by him and even stood and watched a practice barrel run.

Afterwards we got swarmed at the trailer. Everyone wanted a closer look at The Big Bay horse and wanted to know all about him. LOL.

What a milestone for my former p-sycho. Something clicked in this horse's head over the summer and he has been acting plumb broke every since I started back on him. What an awesome feeling!!
