If I want to nit-pick it...and that is what a person has to do to improve...I need to work on bringing my inside hand, up and back a little bit. It's not in a horrible position, but I am definitely still bringing it over and across Moon's withers. That still gives him something to lean on vs. me lifting him up and around the barrel. It's going to take a lot of concentrated effort to make myself change that habit. I also need to really, really focus on bringing my eyes up. It looks like I am at least looking a little forward of Moon's shoulder, but I know that I am not bringing my eyes up quick enough and getting them focused on the next barrel.
Oh, it's just a never-ending battle to remember all the little details when you are actually making a run. (sigh) Maybe one of these days, I'll get it all down.

Hey! Lookin' good! I don't know a lot about barrels, but I'm sure you're spot on with the eye thing...always lookin' where you're goin'. I had to chuckle about "remembering"...when I'm cutting, the brain is trying to get 100 things all together at one time, and the action gets fast, and everything goes out the window!! Us old girls just gotta keep tryin' (it takes us a lil' bit longer, but eventually we'll get it!).
I think you are looking pretty good for a byb who doesn't know Sht from shinola(JK LOL) You are looking good , and only because you are that good at what you do are you able to pick out your trouble spots!
You look great... but to be honest the first think I noticed was that sweet breast collar you have him in... then those flaming tips to your boots... then how nice those reins look with the whole get up... I have no idea how to tell if this is a good run but I do know you sure looked good while doing it! lol
Moon is looking gorgeous!! WHOOT- WHOOT!! It sure is difficult to look back at pics and videos cause there is always *something* to work on! But what could it be if it was easy, right?!

I have problems with where my hand "goes" - like it does it on it's own and I have no control! Sometimes it's where yours is in the photo, and sometimes it is almost over the barrel! I just can't seem to keep my left brain in contact once I go through the timers - it's right brain all the way. ~Spotz58
Damn girl...you and that pony of yours look good...especially for someone who doesn't know how to ride and has lame horses...lol!!!!
