Okay...This post has nothing to do with Toby Keith other than I feel like that song he sings..."I ain't as good as I once was, but I am good once as I ever was".
I didn't think I had any muscles to get sore after all of the cleaning and riding and hoof trimming I have been doing. I was wrong. Heres to sore butt muscles and the damage those little hooves on the calves can do. And I wasn't even kicked. These are just from flipping the calves...
Today, a half a day of subbing. I have to remember to suck it up and not let those boys know how sore I am...
Then another branding. Four Hundred and fifty head this afternoon.
Oh please god...don't let this bunch be as big as the last bunch...

I hear ya! I haven't even ridden yet and just clearing the property, I have sore muscles! The bruised gams! Good grief! Ouch!
Girlfriend, you had best take better care of those get-away sticks of yours! LOL
I'll Fed Ex ya some Excedrin if ya need it- just say the word ;)
I'll let you know tonight Mrs Mom...LOL.
Yikes! Your leg looks like my daughter's after playing softball. She's constantly getting slammed in the shins.
And they wonder why all I wear is jeans! LOL! Girl you need to take a hot bath and a few Excedrin and relax, you have earned it! Good luck with the next bunch of cows!
Poor girl! Hope tomorrow is a little less, ah, colorful. At least the sore muscles let us know we're accomplishing things, but flipping calves sounds like quite the work-out plan.
I can totally relate to that song as well. lol
omg, lol, and you have how many more??
all I can say is, glad it ain't me. It looks like fun, and it is, but it is also Work with the capital W.
I will pray for you :)
Thanks for the fine comment, I'll tell Linds she isn't the only one it's happened to :)
