Sorry to hear about Bob. I lve you and miss you
How were his race times?Kidding. RIP, baby Bird Bob. You tried, BEC, all you can do is your best, and you did it. Nature is a harsh mother.
Aw, poor Bob. You guys tried your best... :-(
Aww poor Bob, thats too bad, I think your squirrel needed a friend.
too bad, poor Bob, you did your best though , which is really all yo can do
Awwww well. He lasted longer than I figured too. They're just hard to raise. But at least you tried!!
RIP lil dude. He died warm and well fed!
Aww, that's so sad. I was really thinking he was going to be ok. At least he had a fighting chance thanks to your efforts.
Poor little Bob... at least he was loved before he went! Rest in peace, buddy.
Crud. Hate that, when you finally think they're going to make it. Fragile little things...hugs.
At least you gave it a shot. More than some people would have done for him and his nestmates. He will suffer no more- the best we can hope for any animal. RIP Bob
I'm sorry Bob didn't make it. Those darn wild babies are just so sensitive! We've had several "displaced" baby birds around the property here this year (ie, fell out of the nest). I've made the kids leave them alone so nature could take it's course. Perhaps it's heartless of me, but I didn't want the kids getting attached and for super sensitive Doodle to become overly distraught if the birds didn't make it. Plus, I have like a kajillion cats. I'm not sure a bird would be safe in my house, which would be even more upsetting to the kids.
