Company

I didn't have to ride by myself today. Instead of heading down the road with just my dogs...

I had company...
ACountryCowgirl came and rode with me!

Hey, is texting and riding even legal in this state?...

I still need to check into that law, we just know we wouldn't do it if a straight line was required or a cliff was on one side:) I had a blast THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! I loved spooks:) I will definetly be doing it more with ya:)

w00t! Yay! Now, how do I convince y'all to come to Georgia and ride with me? That just might be the ticket to lure Mrs. Mom up to Atlanta for a visit too!

OK maybe this question will show my age here, but what is the point of texting while riding? LOL It seems counter intuitive to me but then maybe that's because one of the reasons I ride is to escape.

RR it was my husband texting from work. We only have one car right now since our other one decided not to work so he had to let me know what time to pick him up:) Otherwise I would have ignored it:)

I just noticed that it looks like you're living in some very rural country there...very lucky that you have that nice (dirt) road to ride on...we don't even have dirt roads in this part of the country! Anyway, was just reading about your Frosty horse and his being IR - was wondering if you'd thought to try a product called levothyroxine sodium powder on him...it comes in different brand names, usually called something like "Thyroxine L Powder" or "Thyro-L Powder". It's cheap...dirt cheap, and it works when a lot of other stuff doesn't. It's for horses with hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid). His body type is classic...it also works very fast and they'll feel better, have more energy, lose weight quickly and it will prevent him from foundering, which is what usually ends up happening to horses with that condition.

BECG, you need to bring her to HCR!

I'm so jealous; I want to go riding with you guys. Heck, I just want to go riding. The horses are coming home early this year - April 1st, so I get an extra month in. I'm so excited.

ACC, isn't that just like a man. My hubs is usually the one who interrupts my riding although he doesn't know how to text. I swear a cell phone is like a leash sometimes but certainly an important tool when we need it.

I'm glad you were able to get a chance to ride. Wish there was more of that going on here.

Ahahahaha-Yea, we definitely know that Spooks would never pass a DUI Walk-the-line test.

C-ingspots-I have not heard of that product, so Thank You for letting me know about it. I may actually try it on Frosty. The Horse Sense seems to be working, but it sure don't hurt to know of more products that people have had success with.

GD-You know you are always more than welcome. You get a weekend off...Head on over. The desert is drying out and that opens up a lot of options on places to ride.

ummm... I'm jealous of ACC getting to ride with BEC but more because of the fact that there are no gloves, toques or winter jackets in those pics!!
