Golden

Baby Flash's final blood report came back good. The transfusion worked. His immunoglobulin levels are up and his white blood cell count is down.

MH asked if we could register him under the name, 'High Dollar'....LOL. Aren't they all?

I guess that means I need to get back to business as usual around here. My other horses enjoyed their little vacation, but have started hanging around the gate, looking bored and moaning about how neglected they have been.

I was able to keep my farrier appointment for Frosty last night and I got the biggest thrill. The farrier did not recognized him. Hahahahaha. He's been shoeing this horse for almost 2 years now and when he came in his shoeing barn, he looked at Frosty and then asked me, 'What horse is this?'.

Frosty's transformation is that significant! YES!!! (said with a fist pump)

How awesome is that?

Well, time to get too it again!! The end of the 21 day 'no travel' request (due to EHV-1) will be coming to a close soon and everyone is gearing up for upcoming events. Me too!! The break was nicer for me than for many of my friends, but I'm ready to go again.

Bring on the summer!! :-)

He might have hit the ground a little early but he sure is lucky to have landed where he did. He definitely needs a name with some sass!

I came up with his registered name a few months ago...and it's available, so I'm keeping it a secret until I get it. ;-). It's a cool name and strangely appropriate considering the hoopla surrounding him the first week of his life. LOL
