Scenic Tour

I no sooner got home from the rodeo weekend and I had to switch trailers and head to Arizona to pick up Frosty. Megan moved to Taos for a job earlier than anticipated and although I am sure that Frosty would have been fine on the ranch until later this fall...I decided to just go get him so I could get him back to work here.

It is so seldom that I get the opportunity to 'tourist' sans horses. So I decided to make the most of it.

The first leg of the trip was the usual...Over and down to Moab...

On down to Bluff...

I was so amazed at how green it was down in this country. I don't think I have ever seen it this green...

This time, instead of heading over to Kayenta and down Phoenix way, I took 191 south down through Chinle...

There was one place in particular that I wanted to see on this trip. I've been so close to it so many times and never actually taken the time to make it there. By golly, this time I wasn't going to drive by.

Wow, you and TC were on the very same roads at almost exactly the same time! LOL
He was on his way back from WY.

I love the trip down 191.

Wow! Love that scenery! I was through there a million years ago, but I was too young to remember any of it. I'll have to make another trip someday!Post more please!
