Men

They get older...but they never change...LMAO!

With the nicer weather this last week, My Honey finally got the chance to get out a little toy he picked up a few months ago and take it for a spin...

He spun some "cookies" and laid some "blackies" and.....

Promptly tore the clutch and part of the transmission out of his new toy...

I swear!

In his defense...they did find that a couple of bolts were missing from the transmission. Most likely from when the previous owner rebuilt everything.

Now who would have thought to check that?

MH is a Camaro fanatic...his favorite style is the '70-'73. But with the new shop, we are hoping to finally get started on the rebuild of the '67 RS he bought a couple of years ago.

Myself? I'm a TA girl all the way-LOL...

Hopefully one of these years, before I am too ridiculously old, I hope to have a '78 Trans-Am to sport around in. So far, we haven't seen the massive price drop in them that there has been in a good majority of the other classic cars. It may be just one of those things you always wished you could have had, but never do.;-)

Me? I like me a pick up. Big ones. For hauling hay, horses, kids in back duct taped in little balls when they tick me off (KIDDING...) Sit me behind the wheel of one of those Ford King Ranch Editions all tricked out and.... oh boy.. Weellll let's not go into graphic details, but sufice it to say I'd be H-A-P-P-Y ;)

MM-LMAO!!! Add another use to the 1001 things duck tape is good for...too funny.

Oh, and I don't even think MH is even mildly irritated about having to tear the car apart. He was actually walking around the shop with a smile on his face. I guess for him therapy is rolling around under a car tearing it apart. LOL

Go figure... Shoveling sh*t is good for us, loping along on a fast horse is too... guess HoneyMan needs grease under his nails and the smell of exhaust huh? ;)

Hope he has fun with the project, and it can keep him smiling!!!

you and me, girl, you and me. I was looking at those same cars on Ebay last night. Even for a fixer upper, they are still pricey. But I can FEEL them... lol

Funny, that is the same make and model of car that my parents drove to the hospital when I was being born!! I have lots of pictures of that car with my pregnant mom. hee, hee I do love classics, but I love trucks even more.

Of course he wasn't upset... he got to tinker with something mechanical. lol

For the record, my dream car is a 67 or 68 Camaro :) but I'd sure as heck like that truck Mrs Mom was talking about too!

That had to be one hell of a sickening feeling having the clutch and tranny go like that.

The TA, now would that be from watching Smokey and the Bandit a few too many times? Love those movies.

Me? If it isn't a truck, it's a Dodge Dart Swinger edition. 318 in it and damn those puppies can just fly! Otherwise I will take a late 60's Ford Mustang. Not the fastback though.
