The Fastest 3 Days EVER

Literally!

Doesn't it seem like I just posted that we were heading to Vegas?

We're back...Got back to a miserable snow storm. Kinda wished that the pilot did more than casually mention we might run into some snow BEFORE we left. We might have stayed another day if we had known. ;-P

Pilot, you ask?

Oh Yea................

Meet the co-pilot...

My Honey decided for the first time ever to use the company plane. It's actually owned by business partners, but they always told him he could use it whenever. He just never really felt comfortable with that. It's a frivolous luxury that doesn't really jive with our lifestyle.

But this was kind of a special occasion, so he splurged.

You know...with it being the holidays and taking Megan and a friend. It just seemed like a fun thing to do.

Talk about arriving in style...

It's sick how easily a person could get used to that kind of lifestyle. But not near as sick as our rooms...

It does sound like fun... and this may sound weird but it doesn't seem like you.
Not meant in any kinda bad way.
You just seem far to down to earth for that. You seem like a chick that takes pride in working hard and playing hard :)

(does that make any sense?)

Cdn-You got it. The whole last couple of days was surreal. Uncomfortable even. We joked about being the Beverly HillBillies, only we are smart enough to know when we are out of our element.;)

Not that we didn't enjoy the luxury...it was just a bit(to say the least), over the top.

Dear Ma Clampett... ;)

I am glad that you guys had a good break, and that you were able to show Megan how "The Other Half" lives. Now she can see that actually working for what you want and earning things has some merit!

Snow storm? DUde... you had a plane... and WHY didn't you just swing EAST to SAV/ Hilton Head??? Hmmmmmmmm???

Rotten, I tell ya! Can't wait to see the rooms.

I used to live in Vegas. Can you imagine?

Welcome to the neighborhood ACountryCowgirl...I came over and tried to leave a comment, but the comment section wouldn't come up.

Leah-I always talk to the Vegas locals and it never really sounds like anyone actually likes to live in Vegas. I imagine it gets very wearing over time. But I always loved waitressing and bartending for the people a person gets to meet, so if I was still young and doing that, I think Vegas would be like the echelon of places to meet interesting people.

What did you think when you lived there?

BEC - Voodoo is on a trailer down to you as soon as either Beretta or Shooter is on a trailer up this way! lol

Glad you understood what I meant in my previous comment. It does look like fun but not something I'd neccesarily want as my way of life.
Are you and Moon hitting those jackpots you've got listed?

Sweet! Looks like a great time, but I don't think you'll get too used to it! Horse poop and dirt have a way of keeping us humble! =)

Cdn-I'm hoping to. The one in January may be hoping for a bit much. Moon is pudgy, but we have an unusual amount of snow and ice. Riding outside is not real safe. One of the neighbors told me he could hook me up to go ride in Tonozzi's indoor arena. If I can start going there 4-5X's a week, I might be able to get him sort of back in shape in time.

Hmmm...Vegas eh? Ya know they have drive through wedding chapels there! hee hee!
We often have a limo when we stay- but your plane has us beat all to hell! And let me tell you, If I had access to a plane that I didn't have to pay for- whoo boy I'd be winging it all around, I don't care how down to earth I am!
Can't wait to see the rooms and junk!
