Beretta

Got new pictures of the baby girl today.

She's looking pretty racy...

Hmmm...she's kind of starting to look a bit bay too! Her mane and tail are darkening, but not exactly black. More like a deep red. You can see darker hair on the back of her fetlocks too, but not black, just darker. I'm still calling her a sorrel. Might have to change that to chestnut?

Gosh, I love that blaze...

This end isn't too bad either...

Ohhhh....I just hate having babies born in the pasture. I like having them close, so I can get my hot, little hands on them.

I have been so busy the last few days, I feel out of the loop and like I can't catch up. What a cute baby! I love the family reunion pics! I will have to sit down and read about how things have been going!

She's adorable. I hear ya, I'd want to be all over her too, but she looks beautiful out there in the green grass. Gorgeous!

Oh what a gorgeous filly Beretta is!!! Interesting about her mane and tail! Her mane is definitely darker...OH don't you hate this waiting game of "what color will oyu be LOL"!! Love the pictures!! I know what you mean about wanting those babies close!! Hubby and I almost have to battle it everytime, but I win :) Can't wait to watch her grow!!

What? Born in the barn? Then you'd miss that first baby wrangling rodeo! What fun is that?

And you're right there is some darkening up there - who knows? Sometimes they surprise us and sometimes they don't.
