Well, I'm pretty darn happy! Got a big, wide blaze, 3 little socks(two on the front, one on the back), looks like it really is going to be a nice dark sorrel, like momma...and...it's a filly. That's the breaks when you grow your own. But I can't say that I am to terribly disappointed. She's awful cute.
Ohhh, and her name is Beretta! My gun-toting friends should appreciate that.;-)

I told you this was going to happen!!! I wanted a filly and got a colt, you wanted a colt and now get a filly LOL!!! But yes we are still happy because they are healthy and cute!!! She is gorgeous!!! LOVE the name!!! Very cool!! Can't wait to see more pics as she grows!!

Thanks you guys. I'm prejudiced but try not to be blind. I think she is lovely. Beretta has the cutest little face and is quite bright-eyed and alert. She came right up to me. Her legs are straight and she has good muscle. I think she will turn out all right.;)
Chunkers acts like she's been a momma all her life. She's quiet and comfortable with me around, but makes sure the other mares don't get in baby's space. She is milking good so Beretta should grow and fill out very quickly.
yay!! babies!! or baby. lol I love that tail, it's like a little skunk! lol Our new barn has THREE babies, two are percherons. I think I spent more time petting them than I spent with my own after we hauled them there. so so cute your baby is and I love the name.
