Hot Pink to be exact...
After seeing the huge success that the PRCA has had with it's "Tough Enough To Wear Pink" campaign for Breast Cancer research...My Honey decided that if cowboys could do it...so could the roughnecks in the oilfield. This unit is teaming up with with a non-profit organization and a good percentage of the profits will go toward breast cancer research. The details aren't all worked out yet, but the unit is nearly ready to cross the border. Once it has been delivered and the contracts signed, it will start working and contributing toward a great cause.
How cool is that??
***Thank you all for your wonderful, kind words and sharing your stories too. I think the more people talk about such things, the more accepted it becomes to do the right thing for our loved ones-animals and people. Life at all costs isn't always the best choice these days. Quality of time has to count for something!!

OK, I must admit.....I read "snubbing unit" and thought how in the heck are you going to tie a horse to that?????
OK, so I'm sick! What's new?? LOL
Too cool! Way to go Chris!
How very neat!! I love it!! The boys did a great job!! Pink is the new Black!! I would love to see all the though working oilfielders on that pink rig!!
That is SO cool. As soon as Wrangler came out with the pink dress shirts, my hubby got one. (my mom died of breast cancer)Then, when we were in South Carolina for easter, my hubby went western store shopping while I was scrapbooking with my aunt and he found......TWO pink shirts, one for each of our little boys. So for easter, each of my three boys were tough enough to wear pink :)) Boy did they get some comments from the old ladies at the church. (you all look so CUUUUUUTE) Tell your honey he's awesomely cool.
LOL I thought the same thing as Rising Rainbow!!
What an excellent idea! Two thumbs up girl!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on October 6th. I am half way through chemo and it is one of the hardest things I've ever done. When I see things like this, it makes me smile. I'd like to see your three boys in their pink shirts!
Thanks for the post, and thank your husband.
Sorry, the pink shirts comment was for ezra. I'm up too late...
Debby: I can't email you or comment on your page for some reason :( Can you email me (or go to my blog) and tell me how?? I keep getting error messages on anyone's message board that has a comment page like yours for some reason. I must be dumb.
That is so cool!!
Love the hot pink machine!
I came over from Mikey's site. Sorry about the tough decision you had to make. I'm sure it was the right one for you and the mare.
Have a great day!
