Shooter Update

The pot garden isn't the only thing that grew like crazy in the week I was gone. Little Shooter, isn't so little anymore. Hard to believe he is already a month old...but then you look at him and it is hard to believe that he is only a month old.

He really likes Red Dog...
Red Dog is still really curious about Shooter too. But he is quick to run away if Shooter approaches. I guess he believes my threat to UPS him back to Colorado if he takes a swipe at the foal-LOL.

Oh, he was soooo sleepy at this moment...

Hey mom...what ya got there?

Hey what are you doing back there?

Oh...taking pictures of my pa-tootie again...

Lordie--that is a packed pa-tootie!!!

Ooooo baby... that young man has some junk in da TRUNK!

We need to adapt that "I Like Big Butts" song just for HIM! LOL

He looks great. Keep up the great job with him. Looking forward to seeing him as he grows... and grows... and grows! ;)

The length of muscle he has is inspiring. That is one thing we were really hoping the stud would add, along with that laid back shoulder. Watching Shooter move, you can just see how smooth he is going to be.

That thoatlatch and neck has me a little worried. He seems to be getting a little thick there, hopefully it is a growing stage thing. Both mom and dad have nice clean throatlatches and good necks. Dad ties in a little low at the shoulder but has good length and set.
I just love his little tiny muzzle though. Such nice tight, refined little lips-I bet he is going to be as light as a feather in that mouth.

Nah TW-don't you know, I am a BYB and just breed to breed and don't really produce anything but junk anyway?
ROFLMAO! No rhyme or reason to what we breed---more "foundation" bred crap-that no one wants-hehehehe. I'm sure this guy will eventually end up being sent to slaughter, blah, blah, blah...Okay, okay...enough sarcasm!

Big Momma did so good, she makes my buttons burst. Bless my old girl's heart-she has outdone herself on every one of her foals-but this little guy-he makes me dream of the NFR!;)
