My whole life I have struggled with the difficult task of falling asleep. For quite some time I dealt with it by working bar shifts. I have to say-I really enjoyed those years of bartending. As Megan got older and started going to school, the schedule became a little more difficult. Not to mention the difficulty of finding a night time daycare. So eventually I had to join the majority of society again and just deal with the days following a sleepless night.
So in my next life, I want to come back as a cat...
You can sleep anywhere, at any time...
In any position...
I am extremely jealous of this ability...
We fondly refer to them as the "broke-back brothers"...
But being a dog wouldn't be that bad either...

I feel your pain on the sleeping thing. Lacy falls asleep as soon as her head hit anything. I take hour and hour to fall asleep.
LOL, I work a 12 hour night shift and have for years. I hear ya!
as a long time insomniac, I know your pain
((hugs))
I hope you get some reprieve soon and catch some much needed ZZZZZ's
I couldn't sleep last night worth a darn and had a full difficult day scheduled today which really sucked. But not as bad as it would if I had that problem on a regular basis. I feel for you.
I'm also an extremely light sleeper, so being able to sleep anywhere like a cat or dog also sounds like heaven. lol
I know what you mean. They have the easy life! As I am typing right now my dog is laying on the bed with her head on the pillow sound asleep! Enjoyed the pics!
