GunDiva and her family had a pet tree squirrel and there seems to be a lot of differences between their experience and ours. I don't know if that is because theirs was a tree squirrel and ours is a ground squirrel or if because some are nicer than others. Scrat has come a long way these last few months, but we still have to handle him on his terms. We cannot pick him up or attempt to handle him unless he initiates contact. The little sucker has a vicious bite and is (like Funder says, capable of teleportation).
Funder-He's fast...Not as amusing when he teleports to the top of your head and uses it as a launching pat. LOL Okay...so it's still funny, but his little claws leave some wicked pin-striping. ;-)
It is good you know how to play squirrel! Bill couldn't comment 'cause you just about brought him to tears; says he can FEEL Bomber wrestling with his hand like that. Isn't it amazing how sharp their claws are, yet they can play like that without leaving a mark? Scrat is a very lucky squirrel to be so loved. Juanita

Who'da thunk squirrels would make such good pets?
Happy Easter!
He is just too cute!
I think it's SO cute that you have a squirrel in your house... and he plays! :)
He teleports! There's no way he could get from lying down to standing up that fast - he must be teleporting! Sooo cute. :)
OMG he is just so freakin funny... he sure has some kind a grip! Doesnt that hurt?!?
Happy Easter!
I love Scrat. Thanks for my squirrel fix!
He's definitely a 'neat' pet Shirley.
