There's nothing that will wake you up in the morning quite like walking out to do chores and seeing something like this...
What the...????...
Really guys?....
No one is hurt. Not a scratch on either horse. (sigh)...Horses! I swear!
**Yes, I know, my pens are yucko. It's a little muddy around here at the moment..but nice weather is on the way again. I'm going to cheat and have My Honey use the bobcat to clean. ;-)

Yeah, the stall partition between Casey and Molly looks... off. I'm not sure how though. No one is hurt, there aren't any nails sticking out, so I'll wait for Bad Pants to get home and figure it out this weekend.
My pasture looks a bit gross with the mud and few piles that aren't picked up. However, today's torrential rain should take care of the poo and make more mud. Fun!
horses! I dont know how they do things like that. One day we turned Kali out and the same everyday the gate to her pen was open and she run right past it and ito the fence! Luckily not a scratch on her. Not sure if she was blinded by sunshine or something, but weird.
They do seem to be able to make a mess of things and not themselves, then the next thing you know...
Just doing a little remodeling...
Bill
seems like horses can always find trouble! Little stinkers!! Don't worry we are all mud to. We gotta get out there now that the ground is softening some and get their pasture all fenced and up so they can get out more. Hope all else is well, and enjoy this beautiful week:)
Bobcat? I use the armstrong method myself. ;-)
At least no one is hurt... well, except your panel. I wonder how exactly they managed to do that!
Just a little spring remodeling:)
You call that yuck??
I'll show ya yuck. That's lovely yuck.
My yuck is all muck.
Grumpy, as it is snowing/raining/windy enough to sting your eyeballs with the needles of snow/ice/rain.
has anyone seen spring??
HelllOOOOO..
sigh.
If it isn't the panels it is the horses. I had a gelding once who seemed to be able to hurt himslf on NOTHING! Go out and he took the hair and hide off a leg from hock to hoof. No trace of hide nor hair to tell what he did it on. No, no. Then you may be able to fix it to prevent a repeat...
Be glad it is a panel and replaceable! If that were one of the horses- I don't even want to go there...
Sadly, an all too familiar sight!
way too familiar here too. I am getting ready to call the gate man to bring me a pile of new ones that do not hurt when you touch them. You can never have too many of these things
My stinkers dismantle the round pen by pulling the pegs out with their teeth, but once they do that they still can't budge the panels, because the footing is buried under some pretty heavy mud.
you have a really good honey, I do too and it makes life so good.
wow that's impressive! Glad no one got hurt!
Leave it to horses to do the things they do! Glad no one got hurt. But that is some serious fence damage!
Those pens don't look that bad... then again I look out at the frozen lumps of poo in my pens.
AT least your pens have none of that white stuff in them.
