It is such a shame to lose out that much on a horse as those people will...Maybe you should try to get her :)City girl turned Country Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13136747291306184964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6550515326326288148.post-84561913680328231332009-09-24T00:45:49.286-06:002009-09-24T00:45:49.286-06:00Anon-I love my Meg. I guess for horses that you have raised from birth-they would be sufficient. But real proof of ownership is a bill of sale or a brand inspection.

Most of our horses have permanent brand inspections on them, even though none of our horses are branded. Some of those include a photo of the horse. The last 3 that I just got for Moon, Frosty and Queen do not have photos unfortunately.BrownEyed Cowgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03610547057139295854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6550515326326288148.post-32436394948972589712009-09-23T22:52:02.598-06:002009-09-23T22:52:02.598-06:00Of all the horses that Momma would have just kille...Of all the horses that Momma would have just killed me... I would have had to get up and leave if I couldnt buy her. Prospects are fun to me but those wise old mares have a human-like soul and it is so hard to see them not apprecaited.

Oh and btw, I have to say that the "selling without papers" or a higher price for the papers drives me UP THE WALL!!! Why? Why? Why? Why? I can not even begin to understand that logic...maybe because no logic exsists! Grrr!!! That is where I just feel like getting up and bitch slapping that idiot!!Chelsihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05045101705493626989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6550515326326288148.post-63479616324648505482009-09-23T22:38:12.699-06:002009-09-23T22:38:12.699-06:00I'd have had a VERY hard time not taking #3 ho...I'd have had a VERY hard time not taking #3 home. $50, are you freakin serious!?!?
I would also have to really consider #1. $800 could be a sweet deal, heck even $1000.

Is it legal for the sellers to withhold the papers?cdncowgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09055181472294995601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6550515326326288148.post-47099725192150394262009-09-23T17:57:03.759-06:002009-09-23T17:57:03.759-06:00Wow, craziness. But my problem is I get so emotional, thinking about there past life, and what will happen to them in the future. I'll probably end up with 100 horses by the time I am 40!Paint Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05095673661149903754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6550515326326288148.post-82427503885245001432009-09-23T12:42:32.249-06:002009-09-23T12:42:32.249-06:00Horses are so much cheaper there than here. It's really sad to hear about some of the nice ones going for so cheap. But like you said at least the KB didn't buy them.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13155749395336824191noreply@blogger.com
