What fun!! OMG-the locals would shit a brick-LOL.

TW-I just got it all cleaned out of the yard where it was "decorative"-LOL. I would like to put a couple of pieces back, but first want to build a slight mound, tarp it and cover it with rock so the weeds don't grow up. Rattlesnake heaven the way it was-ugh!

TK-Yes, Red Dog is supposed to be pure Red Heeler, but I suspect there is some Corgi in him. He was a rescue...owner was going to shoot him. Ute is 1/2 Border Collie and 1/2 Blue Heeler. He's an attention whore...loves anyone who will pet him.
They are good dogs. Spoiled rotten, fat, dumb and happy...just the way I like my animals.:)BrownEyed Cowgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03610547057139295854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6550515326326288148.post-91221395294194617422008-08-26T12:06:00.000-06:002008-08-26T12:06:00.000-06:00I must confess that I had no idea that SD was so b...I must confess that I had no idea that SD was so beautiful! Maybe other parts are desolate, but your ranch is gorgeous!

That old farm equipment is cool! How many people can say that they still have original pieces of farm equipment...you might be sitting on a gold mine over there...lol!!!

Your dogs are cute. Is the one a Cattle dog and Border collie (or Aussie) cross? Great cross if it is :)

I know...you should let us all know when another big ranch sale happens and we can all come stay at your house...heeheehee!!!
Glad that you are feeling better!Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08682815635702122191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6550515326326288148.post-1243579387430073622008-08-26T11:49:00.000-06:002008-08-26T11:49:00.000-06:00Hey tree hugger! Then take pictures of all of them as the seasons change! See I have ideas rollin around up there! It's what I do with ours! Except right now weeds have blocked the view of my Horse drawn grader! Must remember to get the kids out there...another mudfest!Train Wreckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10935319684656879210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6550515326326288148.post-10108725061925086052008-08-26T11:25:00.000-06:002008-08-26T11:25:00.000-06:00What cool pics of that old farm stuff!!! He was looking at some of those colts. :) I told him I could probably get ya to bid on them for us and then we could get it shipped down here. :)

That is a huge tractor and I am very impressed that you are driving it all around. I so wished I knew how to do that.

Love that old equipment. It's so neat that there is all that still there. Old farms are so neat.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13155749395336824191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6550515326326288148.post-1228188663718509812008-08-26T07:18:00.000-06:002008-08-26T07:18:00.000-06:00LOL-PG...the whole ranch is museum worthy, not all...LOL-PG...the whole ranch is museum worthy, not all of it in a good way.

As for what to do with it?? I don't really know. The manure spreader and the rake are usable. The rest???
This winter the goal is to get all of the scrap iron cleaned up and hauled out. I will try to get everything functional, that I can and go from there.

Tiller-calling you now honey. Luv ya!!

Liz-That's a one way plow sitting in the manure spreader. We saved a trip by putting it in there-LOL. I want to get the manure spreader functional again, basically needs a new tire and some WD40 to start. If we decide we don't need it, I will let you know for sure. I don't like the thought of just scraping it.

K-LOL...The Red Dog keeps me in line, Ute...he is just about the love. They are no help changing a tire though, hehe.BrownEyed Cowgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03610547057139295854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6550515326326288148.post-21593687915750616412008-08-26T05:21:00.000-06:002008-08-26T05:21:00.000-06:00Love the old farm equipment!
